Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

We got the "Your Baby Can Read" system for Drew and he really does love it!! I have been working with him on his body parts and one of the videos has the song "Head, shoulder, knees and toes." He recently has started recognizing things and saying a lot of words. One of his new thing is finding his ears! He also loves to show off his belly-button. You might want to make sure your shirt is tucked in the next time you see him because he may want to find yours as well!

Back to Work, 1st grade and Mrs. Alice!

So another year has begun, academically speaking. I am in my 4th year at Purple Sage Elementary in RRISD. Hayden recently began 1st grade in AISD and is really enjoying school. Drew is back to Mrs. Alice, the best-est babysitter EVER!! I hope to be sharing many of our adventures throughout the year. Good night Blog....zzzzz!

Summer Time is Watermelon Time!

I knew that Drew liked watermelon, but it was so cute to see him chop into it and get all messy. I think this was the juiciest watermelon I had ever had and it sure did make a mess. Happy Summer!!

Time for Potty Training!!

So I think Drew is ready for potty training. He just went poop and as soon as he was finished he grabbed the wipes and brought them to me!! He knows when it's time to be changed!! Now we need to get the potty and get the timing down and we are all good...if only it was that easy :) HAPPY POTTY TRAINING!

Drew's New Do!

So, yesterday Derek and I gave Drew another hair cut, but this one is special. It's a mowhawk!! The real deal and he is having a blast sporting it!! He is walking even more, literally running circles around the house - he keeps walking around and around the kitchen island. Take a look, it's too cute!

Solar Ninjas

Check out the "Solar Ninjas" on the job! Derek and Ryan are working out in Elgin installing solar panels on top of the high school in 102 degree heat! Its a 180kw job! They slice and dice those panels every day.
